To prepare herself for the role of Sylvie, Ashley went through some extreme training on how to become a maid! Having no experience, Ashley had to endure the wicked techniques of cleaning, cooking, making round beds, washing dishes, oh and of course goosing! The Swiss accent came naturally, but getting into the mind of a frisky maid, was definitely one of her bigger challenges!  After graduation top of her class, Ashley then took her new found talent to the Markham flat where she found herself participating in a whole new series of cuddlings, keyholes, and goosings! Both Ashley and Sylvie share the wonderful quality of musical passion. She enjoys going around the house and sharing her gift with everyone in a 20 foot distance. Her loud screeching voice is the new trend in Lindy Lu’s award winning musical Sunset Boulevard!  To find Sylvie’s wardrobe, Ashley went out and bought 2 new dresses! Fortunately she has decided which one to wear for the performance!  

Ashley is thrilled to be working with the wonderful cast of Move Over Mrs. Markham! All of her entertaining cast mates have kept Ashley on her toes throughout the entire rehearsal process.  This production counts as her 17th show to date! While going to college for housekeeping is tempting, Ashley’s true passion lies on a stage. She plans on going to Washtenaw Community College next fall, then to transfer over to Eastern in the distant future.  When Ashley is not in a production, she spends her time with friends, or working at the Lee Rd McDonalds in Brighton. With the experience her job has given her, Sylvie’s manners were certainly developed. While taking orders seems to keep Ashley in good shape, she would take Sylvie’s position any day! Cooking, cleaning is much more satisfying than having to wear a funny hat and uniform.

Ashley would not be where she is today is it wasn’t for her family, friends, and the Pinckney Players! She would like to thank, Brad for casting her as Sylvie, Mr. and Mrs. Markham for hiring Sylvie, her cast mates, and everyone who never gave up on her! She is thrilled to be performing such a wonderful, amazing, fabulously….. NAKED… show! What she meant to say was, hilarious,… if she may be so bold.
