Set in the Wild West of California in the late 1800’s, this production of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth. Antonio of San Diego and his servant, Dexter of San Diego, arrive in Eureka, California, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antonio of Eureka and his servant, Dexter of Eureka. When the San Diego brothers encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, the arrest of Antonio of Eureka, and accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession.
