Ruth Tureff - Linda Lodge

Picture
This is Ruth Tureff’s 9th appearance in a Pinckney Players production.    She first began as a simple “townsperson” in Beauty and The Beast in 2005.  Wearing a babushka and apron, wardrobe has always been the utmost importance.  When the Director realized how stylish the apron was for Ruth; she cast her as Ralphy’s mom in A Christmas Story.   From there, the Players felt that a headdress was becoming and suited Ruth with a Burka in Joseph and the Amazing.. et al”.
Both “Beauty” and “Joseph” broadened her singing talent which has led her to her latest role in “Move Over Mrs. Markham”.  Playing the part as “Linda Lodge”, she has landed BROADWAY and during its run of SUNSET BOULEVARD, she has found a way of revenge toward her unfaithful husband, “Henry Lodge”.

“This is the most enjoyment I have had in a Pinckney Player production.  I am thankful to Brad Rondeau that I have been a part of this production and I have returned to my original roots with the Players – donning an apron which I do quite frequently at the Pinckney Diner.”     Life is a stage – enjoy the part you have been given – Ruth Tureff
