Jane Tasch Theatre - Ages 8-18 - Monday, June 8–Friday, June 19

This camp is run in cooperation with Pinckney Community Education

Theater is an amazing way to bring so many things learned in the classroom to life.  Theater camp is a great building block for developing leadership skills, confidence, and collaborative abilities, as well as giving students hands-on experience with theater. This year’s camp show will be Matilda Jr. Rest assured, there will be many fun roles with something for everyone, from the experienced actor to someone who just wants to give acting a try.  Please note that because this camp culminates in a community production, it is important that campers attend all dates unless special arrangements are made with staff when registering. Also, please note that there will be no refunds issued after auditions begin on April 29th.

Instructors: Shannon Egenolf and Christine Schoendorff
Producers: Lynn Hoseney, Ann Langford, and Lori Miller

Performances will be on June 19th, 20th, and 21st, depending on the session.

Auditions: April 29th or 30th and May 4th or 5th, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm (for onstage registrants only), depending on session. Please come prepared to sing a short song.  You may also be taught a few simple dance steps to perform and do cold readings from the script.

ONSTAGE ACTORS (Morning Camp) 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Fee $225.00
Participating on stage includes main characters and ensemble/chorus, while also helping with costumes, set, and prop items. All participants receive a script and a camp shirt. Campers need only attend one audition night.  Auditions are in Room 402 at Pathfinder School.  The Saturday prerehearsal is in the Pathfinder Cafeteria. Students will receive scripts, perform a read-through, and try on costumes.  Set build days for both casts are Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th in the theater.  Eight rehearsals and two performances are all at the Jane Tasch Performing Arts Theatre.
