This adaptation of "The Comedy of Errors" is set in California in the late 1800s and tells the story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth. Antonio of San Diego and his servant, Dexter of San Diego, arrive in Eureka, Calif., which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antonio of Eureka and his servant, Dexter of Eureka. When the San Diego brothers encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities leads to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, the arrest of Antonio of Eureka, and accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession.
